About GlatricRocker: A Cosmic Journey of Sound
The rhythm of life found me at an exceptionally young age. Growing up, music wasn’t just a passion in my family—it was the air we breathed. My grandparents’ home, always adorned with a piano and a symphony of other instruments, became my earliest stage. By the age of three, I was already warming up crowds for my grandpa’s events, a delightful blend of playful performance and pure entertainment.
My vocal journey began with a diverse chorus. From mimicking Elvis in a tiny leather jacket to the intricate precision of early Quranic recitations, these formative experiences shaped my voice, building a foundation of vast frequency range and tonal control. As I matured, my musical tastes expanded across continents and genres: the raw energy of Rock, Blues, and R&B, the soulful melodies of Persian folk and classical, and later, the revolutionary sounds of Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, New Wave, and Techno. The advent of CDs and MP3s opened the entire planet’s soundscape, turning weekly record store hunts into a cosmic quest for hidden global gems. This era also instilled a profound respect for the “soul” in older recordings—the raw, un-overproduced sound that speaks of true life training and dexterity.
At 12, a significant vocal challenge emerged, setting me on a decades-long path of trial and error to restore and refine my voice. Forty years later, that journey of rediscovery is complete. This site, GlatricRocker.cOM, is a testament to that unwavering passion—a living log of my adventures in music and Karaoke, where I continue to explore and expand my vocal horizons.
Beyond the stage, I’m a lifelong “performer nut” with an insatiable drive for precision. My journey led me into the nascent digital world of the mid-80s, where I witnessed and contributed to the birth of modern computing and digital audio. I was fortunate to work with industry giants like Microsoft, Apple, Intel, and Creative Labs, even uncovering critical hardware issues that led to significant software driver rewrites. My work on prototype multimedia devices and early internet gaming networks demanded a mastery of tone, frequency, and emotional resonance—a pursuit of precision, not fleeting perfection. As I see it, precision has soul, born from deep understanding and mastery, while perfection is merely a subjective view.
This entire venture is a pure experiment—a cosmic log of my explorations in sound, technology, and performance. If my journey resonates with you, or if you envision an interesting collaboration, reach out! I don’t bite; I tend to roar. Any offer that sounds too good to be true, however, usually ends up in the cosmic bin.
